The methodological approach

1. A simple and structured approach

The methodological approach lies on 3 main tools: analysis of customers needs in term of services; diagnosis of the firm's service potential; a document of scenario for implementation of service, giving an organisational work plan.

2. a new operational concept

The project has developed the notion of « service potential », which is the starting point of the methodological approach. The “service potential” of a firm is a list of possible service provisions the firm can implement, regarding its activity and strategy. With this first analysis-concept, the methodological approach takes into account the specific situation of the firm and assess its « maturity » regarding services provisions introduction.

3. Examples of Product-services elaborated during the project

35 european managers, among whom 15 french ones, elaborated, within 3 half-a-day workshops, a precise scenario of service implementation around the product.
